Project overviews –
Santos & Pecadores Latin night club –
The Project started with a requirement for Audio & Lighting systems for the newly renovated premises. We provided the Audio requirements for Speech DJ & Performance needs within a night club situation. As well as all the lighting infrastructure, fixtures and control systems required for a club production system.
The audio system installed, is a Passive speaker system, having 2 x installed 2way mid to high range speakers from the building truss sections and 2 x Subwoofers installed on the stage area. Covers were made for Dancers to perform on top of the subs…
There are hard wired microphones and wireless microphone systems deployed for DJ use.
All required back of house equipment is mounted in a funky server rack side of stage.
There was a DJ Booth manufactured to house all the Pro DJ control & music player systems, running front of house audio equipment and a provided DJ monitoring system.
For the lighting system installed, wes provided all of the lighting infrastructure requirements, like trussing, DMX control systems, fixtures, static and moving; as well as a control system hub, controlled via a Tablet for ease of use.
Also provided was a pro series hazer to provide the required atmosphere to enhance the lighting experience provided.
We provided the equipment, installation, and training of staff for this project.
Overview for the Glassy Junction
The Brief for this project was a foreground and background music playback audio system for when
the venue is in café/meals mode during the day trade and in the evening for when they have a
function.
There are speakers distributed throughout the venue for even coverage of audio, along with a
subwoofer to enhance the bass in the venue. There is also a speaker installed outside to encourage
patronage from the busy street frontage.
A media player was provided to facilitate various media type formats, along with the required
amplifiers all installed in a lockable rack.
All equipment and installation were provided Kosmic.
Overview for project Lot20 Café/Club
The brief for this project was to provide a multi zone audio system for BGM that could be loud and soft with the ability to maintain good quality listening.
Several zones would require different sources of music content, we therefore provided multi in/out zone mixer to provide this requirement.
The many zones required different speaker selections from internal to external with IP rating required. Due to the rustic look of the venue wall mount models in black were selected along with Subs provided in certain areas to give a strong bass signal when required.
All equipment and installation were provided by Kosmic.
Overview for the Mangrove Hotel Broome
The project required a full refit for the Audio systems throughout the resort as well as vision requirements in several function and meeting rooms.
The audio systems were controlled with matrix audio processors, to provide the required audio input feeds and route to them to the various zones throughout the venue inside and outside.
The audio speakers required ranged from internal ceiling speakers through to IP rated external speakers due to the extreme weather conditions in Broome.
The vision system provided, consisted of projection systems and retractable screens controlled by processing systems enabling one touch on and off, as well as input selection for different vision feed requirements. The audio for the vision systems is routed through the audio matrix system provided in the refit.
The venue won awards for its overall upgrade at the time.
Overview for Cockburn Youth Centre
The project required 2 x elements –
The first element was a range of Music equipment that could be used to jam and rehearse with, as well as the ability to be able to record the proceedings.
The equipment included all instrument amplifiers, drum kit and piano for the musicians to utilize, as well as a small PA system for the vocals and piano to be amplified for rehearsal and Jam times.
The second element was to provide the recording equipment required to be able to record the musicians, in the rehearsal/jam area space.
The equipment provided was from the Mac computer and software all the way though to the required recording equipment needed in the Bio Box; including ProTools software and hardware, monitors, headphone amps, cabling, etc. through to a vocal booth, where we provided the appropriate microphone, stands and headphones, required for recording vocals in an isolated environment. There were headphones and headphone amps provided for all musicians while in the recording mode.
Kosmic provided all the installation for the required cabling feeds, equipment and setups, as well training for staff on the provided equipment for the project.
Overview for Gymnastics WA centre # 2
The brief for this project was to provide a simple to use PA system that would cover the venue and be able to provide BGM audio and speech when required via a wireless microphone system.
The system provided included large passive speakers installed around the venue, in strategic positions to provide as much coverage as possible, in an environment that could get quite noisy during certain modes of operation in the venue.
There was a wall mounted equipment rack provided with all of the required electronics, to provide a good quality sound for all of the venues requirements, from speech through to loud BBM music during training and performance modes.
Kosmic provided the required equipment and Installation as well as the required training to run the system.
Overview for project Babylon Cafe
The brief for this project was a BGM solution for the Cafés internal and external areas.
The system provided was for a BGM system that would provide a quality listening environment in a mostly outdoor setting and a smaller representation inside.
Due to the outside environment, there were IP rated wall mount speakers provided and installed around the venues outside settings, to provide an all-over good quality sound without being too loud, for the next-door tenants.
There was a small mixer-amplifier provided that would connect to the client’s media player of choice and provide the power and tone control for the systems listening enjoyment.
Overview for project Alabama Song
The brief for this project a solution for the club for live music and foreground BGM music in the venue.
There were essentially 2 x systems provided for the venue.
The first was for the live music requirements which comprised of 2 x full range speakers supplemented by a sub-woofer. Along with foldback speakers for performers all flown from the house truss system.
The second system was with smaller speakers for the BGM foreground music around the club with subs to support that system.
An audio mixer along with a system processor and EQ were provided for the live FOH & FB systems operation.
A range of vocal mic, cables and stands were also provided.
The rack and contents were installed by Kosmic. The speaker install was arranged by the client.

Cockburn Seniors Centre –
The Project started with a requirement for audio & vision systems to be upgraded or implemented in two spaces.
In the – Dining area for speech and general music appreciation and or video requirements.
In the general – Function area, utilized for all the Centers daily requirements in meetings, Yoga classes, dancing classes, movie nights, and the like.
In the general Function area, we provided a portable rack with the required audio mixer, audio and video players, C/- with wireless microphone systems and an amplifier to drive the 2 x large speakers mounted on the back wall either side of the existing vision screen.
In the Dining area we provided a new complete AV system including projector and Screen with speaker installed around the room for audio all around due to the seating arrangements. A Rack system for the audio & vision equipment comprising of an audio mixer, audio, and video players C/- wireless microphones for speech requirements.
